My plan had been to get a bit crooked on some bubbly last night and then ruthlessly blog about the second leg of our trip, but I overreached at the former goal.
I wish all of you the warmest of fondnesses and good fortune as you plow ahead in this, our great climb. Excelsior!
hey guys, glad to see you made it alright despite the 44 hour driving stretch through the midwest!
ReplyDeletei once did something like that, leaving houston after 5 p.m. and arriving at the smoky mountains in tennessee about 14 or 15 hours later. when i imagined a godzilla-sized tin man waving at me from the side of the road, i knew it was time to pull over and promptly fell asleep on a camping mat by the side of the car. in short, i feel your pain.
p.s. how was idaho?!?!
Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you too! We're just back from the "Whisky Olympics" - otherwise known as First Footing. Looking forward to your next instalment.
ReplyDeleteKathy--yeah I had a bit of waking dream in Washington, even though that was a short run for me. Pretty scary when you suddenly realize that you have drifted over to another lane.
ReplyDeleteSonja, explain Whisky Olympics for the masses, please. You may have a guest blog entry if you desire...
